How it started
Earthed Project was founded in Madrid in 2015 by Stacey with a clear mission: to address the widespread issue of children lacking access to basic stationery in schools across the globe.
During travels and through interactions, Stacey noticed that, in many parts of the world, it was common for children to attend classes without essential educational supplies like notebooks, pens, pencils, and other tools crucial for learning.
Recognising this gap, Stacey saw an opportunity not only to raise awareness about this pressing issue but also to create a platform where individuals and organisations could contribute to solving it by donating stationery.
The project thus became a channel for making educational resources more accessible to those who need them the most, emphasising the importance of such tools in a child’s intellectual and personal development.
After all, what good is education if children lack the basic resources to effectively engage in their learning? Access to stationery plays a vital role in nurturing a child's ability to write, solve problems, express creativity, and, ultimately, grow intellectually. By providing these fundamental tools, the Earthed Project seeks to empower students, helping to level the playing field and foster greater opportunities for academic success.
‘What good is education if children lack the basic resources to effectively engage in their learning?’
Our mission is to inspire people to donate their unused stationery and educational supplies to enhance the quality of education of children in need.
Our vision, is a world in which every child attains the right to have educational supplies in order to receive a quality education.
We were able to give donations to places in Moldova, Guatemala & the Philippines.
